Sysgration respects and supports international principles aimed at protecting and promoting human rights, as described in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact, the International Labor Organization' Declaration of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and local laws and regulations.
We conducted an assessment discussion of among management team in order to identify human rights issues associated with those of our businesses. As a result, we identified "workplace health and safety," "women's rights," "child labor," "workplace sexual harassment," and "forced or compulsory labor" as our top five issues and became aware of the urgent need to reconfigure management to address global human rights issues.
Sysgration's human rights-related protection measures include:
- Workplace Health and Safety:
We carry out health and safety inspections, preventive equipment maintenance, onsite health care and enhancement of workplace security control to ensure our employees are safe and supported at the workplace.
- Women's Rights:
In Sysgration, we believe that women's rights are human rights. We faithfully obey gender equality that all genders are free to pursue whatever career, lifestyle choice, and abilities they want without discrimination. In 2023, women make up 40% of Sysgration's overall work force. We also set up breastfeeding rooms for the female employees who need of a private, safe, and clean place to express breast milk while at work.
- Child Labor:
Sysgration is prohibited from employing a person who is under the age of 16. We ensure our employment is lawful by checking identification document of the candidate in recruiting process in the first place. The new hires are also required to submit their original identification documents onboarding for verification.
- Workplace Sexual Harassment:
In order to protect gender equality and human dignity and provide a work environment free of sexual harassment and gender discrimination, Sysgration has drawn up the Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention Measures, Complaints, and Disciplinary Actions, clarifying complaints channels, operating procedures, and disciplinary regulations. In addition, we conduct courses regarding gender equality and fair treatment from time to time to build a safe working place for women at the workplace by encouraging their talents without suppressing them.
- Forced or Compulsory Labor:
Sysgration complies with all labor laws and prohibits any form of forced labor or compulsory labor, refers to situations in which persons are coerced to work through the use of violence or intimidation. Sysgration believes that all work shall be voluntary, and workers shall be free to leave work at any time or terminate their employment.. Sysgration requires its suppliers to adhere to its Code of Conduct and verifies the conformance with routine audits.
